BREAKFAST IS KEY TO SUCCESSFUL WEIGHT LOSS
A study of 3,000 individuals found that those successful maintained weight loss; nearly 80 percent ate breakfast regularly. It is thought that eating breakfast provides valuable appetite control later in the day. Ironically many people trying to lose weight skip breakfast, in an effort to reduce their energy intake - but perhaps eat more later in the day, as hunger pangs set in.

SMART SHOPPER'S GUIDE
Use a shopping list, and stick to it !
Try to eat before going shopping. Unhealthy foods can be too tempting if you go food shopping when you're hungry !
Buy low fat alternatives of foods (eg. Skimmed milk, lower fat cheeses and yogurt etc.)
Fill your shopping troley or basket with mostly vegetables, fruits and grains (noodles, rice, breads and cereals)
A smaller porpotion can be taken up with fish, chicken, meat and eggs
Every time you go shopping, buy something new, such as an exotic fruit or an unusual vegetable. it's fun to cook with something new and this will increase the cancer-fighting foods in your diet
Every now and then, why not visit a farmer's market (Pasar Tani)? It's a wonderful way to experience thr bounty and beauty of vegetables and fruits on offer
